The oxidation reaction converts chemically hazardous contaminants to non-hazardous or less toxic compounds that are more stable, less mobile, and/or inert. With a super oxidizing agent, the reaction can be really quick, just in a few hours. Wolftank Adisa’s in-situ chemical treatment is a two-agent technology where both chemicals are considered as non-dangerous.

This operational choice quickly analyses the characterization of the main organic contaminants on samples taken. The mobile laboratory is a flexible unit especially suitable for situations like contamination testing, during the remediation of contaminated sites or during environmental emergencies, allowing to make the right decisions with considerable savings in terms of time and operating costs of sites.
The general process includes:
- Extraction of samples for analysis
- Sample preparation, including electric generator and hydrogen generator
- Different analytic techniques, such as thermal gravity surveys, gas chromatography, centrifugation and more depending on the specific case.
